Phone: 518-587-2828 ext 11 Shon, founder and President of Saratoga Strategic Planning, started his company in 2007. he has been a financial planner since 1999. He is a Corporate Investment Advisor Representative with Signator Investors, Inc. He holds the FINRA Series 7, Series 24 and Series 63 securities registrations. Professionally, Shon has received Leadership Awards, Certified Advocacy Trainer recognition, and is New York State Partnership for Long Term Care certified. Shon has found Saratoga Springs to his liking as he worked as a thoroughbred horse trainer for 10 years before becoming a financial planner. While working on the track for D. Wayne Lucas, he handled such horses as Thunder Gulch and Grindstone. His knowledge of the thoroughbred industry along with the lifelong friends he has developed at the track have made for a great combination of business and pleasure in Saratoga County! Family is a huge part of Shon's life; he and his wife, Leslie - a Gloversville native, have two young children, Katie and Michael, who attend Saratoga Springs schools. Shon says "I have a strong belief that a successful community creates a positive environment for your children". Because of that belief, he is a proud and active member of the Saratoga Springs Chamber of Commerce and volunteers with such groups as the NY State Race Track Chaplaincy Program, Saratoga National Little League and the local Kiwanis Club.
